From chilli margaritas to calling the shots at HarBar! 🌶 There's something about Bermagui that keeps people coming back.
For Ange and Wayne, more than 25 years of family holidays, fishing adventures and favourite cocktails eventually turned into something much bigger - a sea change and a business of their own!
In June 2026, the couple took over Harbar Bermagui, a favourite waterfront spot they'd enjoyed as customers for years.
After 20 years working in government health policy, Ange traded her office desk for cocktail shakers and coastal views, fulfilling her dream of owning a small hospitality business. With Wayne looking after things behind the scenes and a fantastic team of local staff keeping the drinks flowing, Ange couldn't be happier.
And there are some exciting new touches at Harbar - fresh cocktails, an expanded w**e selection and a frozen cocktail slush machine just in time for summer!
For Ange, the warm welcome from the Bermagui community has made the move even more rewarding.
