We’ve had two smaller offices (approx. 20m²) that have always been a bit harder to lease — not because they lack quality, but because they lack natural light.

They’re in Building 2 — surrounded by established, professional businesses and offering great value. But still, no natural light. And let’s be honest — it’s hard to imagine how a space will feel until you see it brought to life.

Who says work can’t come with a side of sunshine and pizza? 🍕☀️
Some of our tenants made the most of the gorgeous dry season weather and hosted a courtyard pizza party outside one of the buildings — and we like it!

A great moment for an organisation based at Darwin Corporate Park!
Territory Generation had a big night at the GTNT Group Awards 2025—winning Large Employer Host Business of the Year.
Congratulations to Matthew Blankenspoor on being named Supervisor of the Year, and to Aaron Fairweather, a finalist in the Prelude to the Future Outstanding Shell Apprentice category.
It’s always great to see the organisations in our precinct recognised for their impact—especially when it comes to building future capability in the Territory.
The investment Territory Generation makes in their people and programs is clearly paying off, and this recognition is well deserved.

👏 Congratulations to The Man Walk Darwin on their 300th walk last Saturday.
A few of the men from Darwin Corporate Park were there to celebrate the milestone, and several take part regularly.
Talk to the regulars and the concept is clear: walk, talk, support, show up. That’s exactly what makes it work.
The conversation doesn’t have to be deep or meaningful. It can be about sport, work, life — or nothing at all. It’s more about routine, connection, and starting the day with purpose.
There’s also something valuable in side-by-side conversations and the kind of “sideways listening” that happens while walking.
Personally, I’m a big believer in staying active. I see it as the antidote to so many things. And initiatives like this make that feel achievable and real.
Well done to everyone involved — here’s to many more mornings on the move.

We’ve been refreshing the marketing visuals for Darwin Corporate Park, a commercial precinct we manage, and these new aerials offer a completely different view. From this angle, while it highlights the buildings, you can see the relationship between them, how the site flows, how it connects with the broader landscape, and how thoughtful design supports everyday function.
On the ground, you notice the details. From above, you understand the intent.
Beyond the day-to-day, one of the things I value about commercial property management is the opportunity to align space, design and presentation with the goals of the businesses operating within it. It's about curating how a space is experienced — by tenants, visitors and future occupants alike.

There’s something uniquely special about a Territorian — or a Territory-grown organisation — achieving an Australian first.

Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation has done just that.

In a landmark achievement, Ironbark has become the only Indigenous organisation in the country to be awarded a Workforce Australia contract under the Generalist stream. Already delivering tailored employment and support services across the Darwin–Daly region, this new contract expands their reach even further, adding sites in Casuarina and Palmerston and deepening their impact.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing Ironbark’s journey up close. In 2017, I helped them move into Darwin Corporate Park. Since then, I’ve watched them grow, adapt, and lead — with resilience, integrity, and a strong company foundation. Their impact across industries has been profound, and this milestone is so well deserved.

This isn’t just a win for Ironbark — it’s a win for the Territory, and for every community they serve.

Protect & Connect – Fire Safety Over Dinner
Last Thursday, I attended Protect & Connect, a small dinner and information session hosted by the FPA Australia at Wharf One Food & Wine on Darwin's Waterfront. With the lights twinkling across the water, it was a lovely setting for what is often seen as a technical and dry topic—compliance with AS 1851:2012, the routine service of fire protection systems and equipment.
Not everyone’s idea of a thrilling night, I know—but the discussions were genuine and frank. The panel, Mike Nuthall from Defend Fire, Tina Bowen from Knight Frank NT, and Darrin Weetra from NTFRS shared their stories and knowledge about the impact of inspection and reporting, the responsibilities, its processes and the all-important buy in from stakeholders, like building owners, insurance companies and contractors.
As a not-for-profit, FPA Australia is doing important work to align stakeholders and push for practical reform, particularly here in the NT. When you strip back the regulations and standards, what you're left with is responsibility—to each other, to the spaces we manage, and to the communities that rely on them. And, let’s face it, we walk into these buildings every day.
Thanks to the organisers for a great evening, and to Wharf One for the delicious food and hospitality.

There’s something quietly wonderful about bumping into team members from the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia office here at Darwin Corporate Park — they’re often loaded up with LEGO, games, and all sorts of colourful fun.

They’re usually heading off to Royal Darwin Hospital or remote community health clinics to do what they do best: bring joy to sick kids who really need it.

Whether it’s through creativity, play, or surprise visits from superheroes, the work they do makes a difference — not just for the kids, but for the families alongside them.

And I’m a bit of a Lewis Hamilton fan, so I might be biased — but the video of a Starlight kid, Marcus, on their socials meeting him is a winner. It’s got all the feel-good energy of a podium finish, minus the champagne.
