The highway eastbound on Victoria Pass remains closed due to unplanned roadworks as a result of a sinkhole at the convict bridge. The Pass eastbound will stay closed until at least next Tuesday afternoon for further testing. Once reopened, intermittent closures will occur for full load stress testing.

Geotechnical engineers will remain on site 24/7 to monitor any issues.
