🌻 COME BACK TO BLACKVILLE FROM 12PM! 🌻

Our 150th celebrations begin from 12 noon this Saturday and we would love you to come early, settle in and enjoy the afternoon with us. 💙💛

Grab something to eat from our P&C, menu attached.

Grab a cuppa from GoGo Expresso, find an old friend, pull up a seat and spend some time mixing, mingling and reminiscing about your days at Blackville.

DO YOU WANT TO VISIT THE ORIGINAL SCHOOL BUILDINGS THAT LEFT HERE IN 1991?

For those who would like to take a little trip down memory lane and see the original Blackville school buildings, which are now a private dwelling, please be at Blackville Public School by 12.15pm.

Thanks to Howard’s Bus & Charter, a mini bus will be travelling out to the buildings, with a few cars also making the trip.

A very special thank you to Howard’s Bus & Charter for providing the bus and to Malcolm for kindly allowing us access to his property so former students, families and friends can visit the old school buildings. We really appreciate you both helping us make this special part of the day possible. 💙💛

👉 If you’d like to go, please make sure you are at the school by 12.15pm so you don’t miss out.

And if the trip isn’t for you, stay at the school, enjoy something to eat, catch up with old friends and simply sit and reminisce.

🔔 Then, at 2.00pm sharp, our Official Ceremony will begin with something very special…the ringing of the old school bell.

150 years of memories, friendships and stories and we cannot wait to welcome you back to Blackville. 🌻💙💛

SILVER SPONSOR THANK YOU – LIVERPOOL PLAINS BUSINESS CHAMBER INC.

A very big thank you to Liverpool Plains Business Chamber Inc. for their generous support of Blackville Public School’s 150th Anniversary Celebrations. 💙💛

The Chamber does a wonderful job supporting and promoting businesses, organisations and communities right across the Liverpool Plains and we are very grateful that they chose to support our little school for this very special milestone.

We recently had the pleasure of presenting Ray, Treasurer of the Chamber, with a Silver Sponsor certificate and a copy of our Today’s Cooking with Yesterday’s Memories commemorative cookbook as a small token of our appreciation.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Tammie for the support she continues to show Blackville Public School. At the recent Quirindi Show, Tammie very kindly made room on the Chamber’s table for our 150th flyers and some of our cookbooks, helping us spread the word about our celebrations. 🌻

Tammie is always looking for ways to support our small school and those little acts of kindness and community spirit mean more than she probably realises.

Thank you Liverpool Plains Business Chamber Inc., Ray, Tammie and members for getting behind Blackville Public School and helping us celebrate 150 years. We are so lucky to be part of such a supportive local community. 💙💛🌻

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY! 💙💛

Things are really starting to come together for Saturday!

A huge thank you to Jack, Phil, Logan, James, Billy, Neville, Mike, John and Gordy, who gave up their time this afternoon to get our marquees up and ready for the big day. Many hands certainly make light work and we are so lucky to have such wonderful community support behind our little school.

We would also like to acknowledge AMPS, Agracom and Pursehouse Rural for their generous support in providing/sponsoring marquees for our 150th celebrations. We simply could not put together an event of this size without the support of local businesses and our community.

Now that they're up, we can really start to picture it… ✨ lights twinkling, tables decorated, everyone together and 150 years of Blackville Public School being celebrated!✨

Only a few more sleeps to go and we cannot wait to welcome everyone to Blackville on Saturday! 🌻💙💛

150 years in the making… and it’s nearly here!
