Koora Retreat Centre Koora Retreat is a base camp on the edge of Boorabbin National Park from which to experience the wilderness and explore desert.

We provide a space for you to journey into remote arid areas as well as into yourself. We support you to explore your life. We will show you aspects of the Great Western Woodlands in which we are centrally placed: a place to stay while you explore the wilderness. Accommodation is provided in single relocatable buildings sited around a cloister with camp kitchen, library, refectory and wonderful c

amp fire under the clear desert skies. We can share expertise gained from living in and walking this land since 2004.

Hello everyone. A small group of ‘friends of Koora’ are organising a love offering for Anna and Peter to thank them for the amazing place and community they created at Koora. If Peter and Anna have touched you in anyway, be it a retreat or visit sometime in the past that touched your life, a connection to Koora and their mission, spiritual or practical guidance, or friendship and support, please consider an offering for them. We would love them both to feel surrounded by the love of the community they created. You can make a donation to a retirement fund to help them settle into their new lives in Melbourne. Koora Retreat has new owners. She has called in her new custodians who took possession of her yesterday. Beaullah Maziriri and Ali Nakunyada are keen to further develop Koora and offer christian retreats there, in keeping with the spirit of the place and its former custodians. They will take over the Koora Retreat website and grow their own page to keep you all informed and invited.
