Don’t miss the next Open Mic - Friday 29th May

We're looking for volunteers to help at the book fair from Friday 5 June to Monday 8 June. Come and be part of a great community event, knowing that your efforts will help raise money for local groups such as the Braidwood Historical Society and the Braidwood Life Centre.
Each day we provide volunteers with hot drinks, morning and afternoon tea and lunch. If you are happy to provide a pot of soup, a tray of sandwiches, a slice, cake or other goody for this purpose we would love to hear from you.

To help with roster preparation, please let us know if you are able to join us and what your choice of day/s, times and role would be.
If you could let us know by Friday 22nd May, either by email to [email protected] or call/text Laurann on 0417433846, it would be much appreciated.

The Book Fair supports local community groups – all but a small amount of the proceeds from the Book Fair are donated to Braidwood community groups. If you are a member of a local community group who would benefit from some extra funds, do let us know when you offer to volunteer so that we can make sure your group is listed and receives support when funds raised from the Braidwood Book Fair are distributed.

Just three weeks to go before the Braidwood Book Fair returns, bigger and better than ever. Please leave your donations at St Bede's Presbytery by Sunday 24th May as we need to sort them ahead of our opening on Friday 5 June. The book fair is being held at the National Theatre as always and we're always welcoming volunteers to help sort the books or to be at the theatre over the King's Birthday long weekend. All money raised goes to local community groups.
