Dropped into Gather & Feast cafe in Caboolture yesterday for the first time and what a gorgeous little local find 💛

One of the highlights of my week is catching up with a room full of like-minded local business people at BNI.

We’re currently in the launching phase of the Bribie Island chapter, which makes it even more exciting to be part of from the beginning. We also connect with the established Caboolture and North Lakes chapters, giving us an even broader network of local business professionals to learn from, support and collaborate with.

BNI is built around the philosophy of “Givers Gain”, supporting others, creating genuine connections and helping fellow members grow through referrals and trusted relationships.

For me, being well connected locally matters. I want to understand the people and businesses in the community I work in, surround myself with other professionals, keep learning, share ideas and stay accountable to a high standard.

Those relationships and connections also help me better support the people I work with every day.

There’s always plenty of conversation, new opportunities and a few laughs too.

Very grateful to be part of such a supportive local network. 🤝✨

Interest rates are worth watching closely right now. 📈

The RBA cash rate is currently 4.35% and further rises remain a real possibility.

For buyers, higher rates generally mean reduced borrowing capacity. 💰 For sellers, that matters because it can directly affect what buyers are able to offer.

If you have a genuine, qualified buyer in front of you, it may be worth thinking carefully before holding out for small increments. If rates move again, the next buyer may simply not have the same purchasing capacity.

And for sellers who are also buying, there’s another important part of the equation. 🏡

A changing market can affect what you achieve on your sale, but it can also affect what you need to pay for your next property.

That’s why it’s important to look at the whole move rather than focusing on one number in isolation.

Good real estate decisions are made with the market in front of us, not the market we hope might arrive. ✨
