So after being kicked out of Grill’d Rosalie the week before last (ironically 🤪 during Coeliac Awareness Week) for asking for our gluten free bun to be grilled separately to all the other gluten laden buns, as we’ve always done …. we’ve decided to create our own 👍
Bird & Brie burger for dinner tonight 🙌
And honestly? It was a million times better. It’s amazing how gastronomically motivated one becomes when eating one’s favourites outside the home kitchen is becoming riskier!
Now that the balcony herb garden is officially up and running again, as of THIS afternoon, I wasted no time … the tarragon, chives and parsley didn’t know what hit them 🌱✂️
We whipped up a sort of handmade herbed mayo from scratch. Mayo, tarragon, chives, parsley, garlic powder, lemon juice. Delicious.
Then we loaded up our ‘safely grilled’ Woolies gluten free bun with everything:
✅ Grilled chicken breast
✅ Creamy brie
✅ Cranberry sauce
✅ Cos lettuce
✅ Tomato
✅ The herby mayo
✅ And a little bonus … fresh avocado 🥑
