📸 A huge thank you from the three of us! ❤️

Last night, Gina, Coralie and I took part in the Live Like Her Challenge at DFO Brisbane Airport, sleeping overnight in our cars to raise money for women over 55 experiencing homelessness.

One statistic shared with us last night really hit home:

Once a woman over 55 becomes homeless and starts living in her car, her life expectancy can be just three to four years.

That is shocking. And it really puts into perspective why this work matters so much.

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $4,100 for The Forgotten Women.

Every donation, share, message and word of encouragement helped us reach this goal — and it genuinely matters.

Sleeping in my car for one night was uncomfortable, but I knew I was safe, that it was only one night and that I could go home in the morning.

For many women, there is no home to go back to.

That’s why this cause is so important. The money raised helps provide safe, secure housing for women over 55 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Thank you for standing with us and helping more women have somewhere safe to call home.

We’re already planning to come back next year with an even bigger goal — $10,000!

And we’d love your help❤️

Tonight I’ll be spending the night sleeping in my car at the DFO car park as part of the **Live Like Her Challenge**, getting a small glimpse of what life is like for women who have no choice but to sleep in their cars.

I’m a little anxious about how much sleep I’m actually going to get, but I’m also very aware that I’ll be safe, surrounded by some lovely people, and tomorrow morning I get to go home.

For so many women experiencing homelessness, those comforts simply aren’t there. Sleeping in a car isn’t a challenge for one night. It’s their reality.

As many of you know, this is a cause I feel very strongly about. I’m incredibly grateful to be in a position where I can take part and help raise awareness and funds for women who need support.

There’s still time to donate if you’d like to support the **Live Like Her Challenge**. Every contribution helps. ❤️

I'm taking part in the Live Like Her Challenge by sleeping out to raise money for women over 55 who are facing homelessness.

This is a cause that is close to my heart. Through my work in real estate, I've seen how quickly life can change.

Many of these women never expected to be in this position. A relationship ends, a partner dies, or a major life event changes everything. After years of raising children and supporting their families, they often have limited superannuation, reduced earning capacity and very few housing options.

Some are still trying to provide a stable home for children who are at school. Others have watched their children grow up and leave home, only to find they can no longer afford a place to live themselves.

Homelessness doesn't always look the way people imagine. It can happen to women who have worked hard, raised families and simply had life take an unexpected turn.

For years I've joked that I'd help by winning Lotto one day. Then I realised there's no point waiting. You don't have to start with a huge donation or a grand plan. You just have to start.

I'm also lucky to be doing this alongside two wonderful friends. A huge thank you to Gina, who organised our team in the first place, and to Coralie, whom I will be joining for the sleep out in early September. I'm grateful to be sharing the experience with you both.

If you can spare $10, or any amount at all, I'd be so grateful. Every dollar helps support women who need a safe place to live and a chance to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for supporting such an important cause.

SOLD — 43 Rusden Street, Kelvin Grove

Three open homes.
Over 30 buyer groups.
Four offers.
One successful sale.

Multiple offers can look similar, but the conditions and risks can vary. An experienced agent knows how to assess each offer, negotiate with buyers and advise the seller when it’s time to accept.

Experience matters, especially in this market.

A few lucky buyers got a sneak peek today before this home officially hits the market.

No, we weren’t checking if you were old enough for the bottle shop. 🤣

From 1 July 2026, real estate agents across Australia are officially subject to the same Anti-Money Laundering laws banks have followed for years. It’s called Tranche 2, and it means agents now have to verify ID, ask where funds are coming from, and run proper checks on buyers and sellers — not because anyone’s under suspicion, but because it’s the law.

So next time your agent asks for your driver’s licence or passport before a contract’s signed, don’t take it personally. We’re not being nosy, we’re being compliant. Property has long been one of the easiest places to hide dodgy money. This closes that gap.

SOLD & SETTLED — Honeydew Place, Taigum

This sale never hit the portals. No open homes, no fifty people trailing through the complex — and that was exactly the point.

My seller wanted market price, but she also cared about her neighbours. She didn't want weeks of disruption, and she genuinely wanted the right person moving in — someone who'd fit the complex she'd been part of for years.

So we went off market. I work with a large network of buyer's agents, which means I can quietly match serious buyers to a property without the circus. Within 14 days, we had the right offer at the right price — and we've welcomed a lovely young professional couple who'll fit right in.

Full price. No fuss. Neighbours respected. That's what selling can look like.

Every time interest rates move or the economy wobbles, someone predicts a Brisbane property crash.

I don't buy it.

At the end of the day, property prices come down to one thing — supply and demand. And in Brisbane, both sides of that equation are working in the same direction.

Demand is strong. Interstate migration continues, Brisbane wages now broadly match Sydney, yet our homes still sell for hundreds of thousands less. That affordability gap keeps drawing buyers north — many of them bringing Sydney equity with them.
Supply isn't keeping up. Construction costs are high, labour is short, and new development is slow. Population keeps growing faster than we can build.
When demand stays strong and supply stays tight, prices don't crash. They might slow. They might pause. But a slowdown is not a crash.

I've written down exactly why I think that — link below.

This property is under contract, but I currently have buyers looking for similar townhouses in Taigum, Carseldine and surrounding northside suburbs.

• 3 bedrooms
• 1-2 bathrooms
• Townhouse or low-maintenance home
• Taigum, Carseldine or nearby northside locations

I have qualified buyers ready to purchase and would be happy to connect them with the right property.
