My advice right now is simple.

Slow down.

Nobody needs to list their property before breakfast because of a headline and three Facebook comments from someone’s uncle who “knows finance”.

Take a breath and look at the actual facts before making big decisions.

There’s still a lot to unpack from the announcement.

I’m not a tax advisor and never will be, so please speak with your accountant before making decisions about selling, holding or restructuring property.

But maybe don’t ring them today unless it’s an emergency. They’re probably already hiding under their desks with 400 unread emails and a cold coffee.
