Project Complete 🎉
Our Sunshine Coast office successfully delivered the Bells Creek Substation project, delivering two new operational buildings and associated civil infrastructure to support Energy Queensland's expanding network within the rapidly growing Sunshine Coast corridor.
Building 1 comprised an in-situ basement, blockwork and structural steel superstructure housing a GIS switchgear room, storeroom and amenities, complete with gantry crane and external loading platform.
Building 2, constructed using a similar structural system, accommodated control and battery rooms and was delivered early as a separable portion to enable timely equipment fit-off.
The broader works package included transformer slabs with domed block bund walls, bored pier foundations, lightning mast and earthing infrastructure, cable pits, in-ground stormwater tanks, internal asphalt roadways, electric security fencing and a site-wide earthing grid. Blue metal surfacing, hydro-mulching and perimeter works completed the high-performance compound.
The project was delivered safely and successfully through the strong collaboration and commitment of the Bryant team, subcontractors and suppliers.
