Bryant Building Contractors

Bryant Building Contractors BRYANT specialises in commercial construction for the private and public sector including the mining industry, health, education, and community facilities.

Brisbane | Cairns | Gold Coast | Toowoomba | Sunshine Coast | Rockhampton | Darwin We're quality builders, with particular experience in commercial buildings and government and community facilities. We've built everything from schools to mining accommodation; child care centres and aged care facilities; to university buildings, sporting complexes and police stations. Bryant specialises in remote

and challenging locations and the education sector. Our approach is founded on one simple philosophy: We strive to exceed customer expectations. For some this might mean we design sophisticated value engineering solutions to ensure their construction goals and budget align. For others, it’s the rare pleasure of finding a clean and safe worksite at the end of the day. Not once, but every day during the project. As a construction company, our core business relies on delivering your project on brief, on time and on budget. If we meet your expectations, we’ve done a pretty good job. But if we exceed them, you’re more likely to do business with us again. We find it’s a great approach to business. And our clients seem to like it too.

This week, our teams came together to mark National Reconciliation Week with morning teas across our offices — a small but meaningful moment to pause, connect, and reflect.

We shared conversations about reconciliation and why strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples matters — not just this week, but every week.

These conversations are how change begins. 💛🖤❤️

Another successful project delivered by our Toowoomba team 🎉

Nestled within the stunning Bunya Mountains National Park, the Dandabah Day Use Area and Campground project has provided significant upgrades to visitor infrastructure aimed at improving accessibility and enhancing the overall visitor experience.

The works included construction of a new interpretive centre building, refurbishment of existing amenities and approximately 150 metres of suspended timber boardwalk integrated within the surrounding natural environment. Additional elements comprised a new timber bridge, stormwater infrastructure, roadworks, extensive concrete pathways and landscaped areas, together with free-standing stone pitched retaining walls designed to complement the natural character of the park.

Working within an environmentally sensitive national park setting, the project required careful planning, detailed trade coordination and proactive procurement to deliver high-quality finishes while preserving the natural landscape.

Congratulations to the project team:
👏 Paul York (PM / CA)
👏 Darryl Green (SM)
👏Terry Charles (HSEQ)

A sincere thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life and contributing to the successful enhancement of the Dandabah visitor precinct.

Project Complete🎉

Completed by our Sunshine Coast team, the 37 Walker Street development in South Bundaberg delivered specialist disability accommodation comprising six NDIS apartments, dedicated carer accommodation, a multipurpose room and secure lock-up parking, supported by landscaped external works.

The project was undertaken following an extended period of site inactivity, with significant review and rectification works completed to address inherited construction issues and ensure compliance, structural integrity and quality outcomes prior to final completion.

The completed development now provides modern, purpose-built accommodation designed to support independent living and high-quality care within the local community.

Congratulations to the project team:
👏 Matthew Somers (PM)
👏 Wayne Gorton (SM)
👏 Matthew Bennett (HSEQ)
👏 Sam Broderick/Maddy Graham (CAs)

Thank you also to all subcontractors and suppliers involved in bringing this project to completion.

Project Complete 🎉

Our Sunshine Coast office successfully delivered the Bells Creek Substation project, delivering two new operational buildings and associated civil infrastructure to support Energy Queensland's expanding network within the rapidly growing Sunshine Coast corridor.

Building 1 comprised an in-situ basement, blockwork and structural steel superstructure housing a GIS switchgear room, storeroom and amenities, complete with gantry crane and external loading platform.

Building 2, constructed using a similar structural system, accommodated control and battery rooms and was delivered early as a separable portion to enable timely equipment fit-off.

The broader works package included transformer slabs with domed block bund walls, bored pier foundations, lightning mast and earthing infrastructure, cable pits, in-ground stormwater tanks, internal asphalt roadways, electric security fencing and a site-wide earthing grid. Blue metal surfacing, hydro-mulching and perimeter works completed the high-performance compound.

The project was delivered safely and successfully through the strong collaboration and commitment of the Bryant team, subcontractors and suppliers.

Congratulations to the project team on a fantastic outcome:
👏 Brendan Ward/Michael Ortlipp (PMs)
👏 Matt Cooper/Matt Gibby (SMs)
👏 Matt Bennett (HSEQ)

The Sunshine Coast office recently completed Stage 2 of the Maryborough Depot Refurbishment & Fitout!

The works comprised extensive internal demolition and full interior fit-out, together with installation of a new access lift, external cladding upgrades and construction of accessibility ramps to improve functionality and compliance. External works included landscaping, resurfacing and extension of existing car parking areas, enhancing overall site operations and presentation.

Delivered within a live operational depot environment, the project required careful staging, stakeholder coordination and maintenance of uninterrupted site access and services. The completed refurbishment provides modern, efficient and accessible workspaces aligned with EQL's operational and workforce needs.

St Mary's Parish located on our SVDP site is on the move!!

The St Mary's Parish, established in 1952 was built following the building of St Mary's School in 1951. Due to rapid growth within the area, a larger church was also built on adjacent land in 1955. This larger church sadly burnt down in 2020, thankfully the original parish was not impacted by the fire.

The parish has now been relocated within the project grounds and will become a community centre for St Vincent de Paul to provide services to the community from. The services provided will include tenancy support, outreach programs and assist with community living skills

Thank you for ensuring a smooth relocation!!
