π¨ STOLEN TINY HOME π¨
We never thought we'd be writing this, but one of our customers' Wheelie Rooms tiny homes has been stolen in Victoria.
The unit is easily identifiable with white cladding and black trim (see photo attached).
As demand for affordable housing continues to grow across Australia, it's disappointing to see a home intended to help someone secure a place to live become the target of theft.
CCTV footage has been obtained from the surrounding area and the unit's VIN plate number has been reported to local police. The matter is currently under investigation.
π° $2,000 REWARD π° A cash reward is being offered for information that directly results in the recovery and return of the tiny home.
We're asking our fellow customers, followers, tiny home owners, transport operators and community groups to keep an eye out for:
β’ Suspicious online listings
β’ Marketplace, Gumtree and tiny home sales groups
β’ Anyone attempting to sell a Wheelie Rooms unit matching the photos
β’ A unit matching the photos being moved, stored or offered for sale
If you believe you have seen this unit, please contact the Wheelie Rooms team on 0485 841 634 or [email protected]. As multiple customers own this same model, we can help verify whether it is the stolen unit. If you witness suspicious activity or have information relating to the theft, please also contact local police. All information will be treated confidentially.
π’ Please share this post and help spread the word. With thousands of people following Wheelie Rooms across Australia, we're hopeful our community can help get this tiny home back to its owner.
Thank you for your support
