LAUNDRY UPDATES:

(1) INSTALLATION DATE
At this stage the new suppliers will install the new machines on Wednesday, 6th July. Some upgrades to the power circuit is required as the new dryer will be of larger capacity and should dry more clothes and do it faster

(2) REMOVAL OF PRIVATE MACHINES:
For those tenants that have their own personal washing machines there please remove them to your own unit (or elsewhere) by Wednesday please. This is a condition of having communal machines in the common laundry that uses the communal power and hot water. If unable to do so by the installation date, they maybe moved to the foyer for your collection. Note that items left in the foyer for more than 4 weeks will be deemed to be abandoned and may be disposed off.

(3) LAUNDRY CLOTHES LINE REPAIR:
Quotes are under way for the repair, hopefully finalised by this week, will post another update soon.

LAUNDRY UPDATE :
The new laundry supplier is to be engaged shortly. They will be tap and pay (no coins) and can be operated by supplier remotely if there is a problem.
2 washers and 1 dryer (industrial size). Cost will be $4 per load.

PLEASE NOTE: all current private washing machines are to be removed. They should not be there (consuming communal electricity and hot water everyone else pays for). Its been tolerated recently due to the poor service from the current provider. Note also the Laundry Supply contract (existing and soon to be current one) are conditional that no others are present.

If the private machines are still there when the new machines are installed they will be placed in the foyer for collection (If not collected after 4 weeks they will be disposed of). Notice will be given once an install date is confirmed

The communal powerpoints will also be configured to user paid access (at a cost higher to operate than the new machines in order to cover the electricity/hot water and overheads) to deter them to return and as power costs escalate.

This will also include other communal powerpoints in the foyer and car parks.

* LEAVE MESSAGE ON CAR HOW/WHO TO CONTACT TO MOVE IT (YOUR PHONE NUMBER IF NEARBY, LEAVE KEYS WITH NEIGHBOUR ETC)
