Style, confidence and plenty of personality were on show at Rendu Towers this week. 👏

Rendu’s twice-yearly fashion show returned on Tuesday, with residents taking the lead in bringing the event together and stepping onto the runway themselves.

With clothing from Soho Bay bringing plenty of colour and style to the runway, friends and neighbours were there to cheer them on.

It’s moments like these that say a lot about life at Rendu. People getting involved, having fun and making the community their own.

The Big Lap has left the driveway. 🚗

Eight villages. One virtual road trip. And absolutely no one asking, “Are we there yet?” just yet.

Today, our residents officially hit the road for five weeks of movement, mateship and a little friendly convoy rivalry.

Whether it’s a walk, a swim, a dance or a few extra laps around the garden, every movement counts.

So, to our eight convoys: the road is yours.

Let’s see what you’ve got. 😉

A new place for lunch. A little adventure. A long-overdue catch-up. Or a spontaneous “why not?” that turns into the best part of the weekend.

Remember that road trip?

The one where someone insisted on stopping at the Big Pineapple. Or the Big Banana. Or the Big Prawn. Because apparently, if Australia makes something enormous, we have to pull over and take a photo with it. 🤣

Did you know? Australia’s love affair with Big Things stretches back decades, with the Big Banana opening in Coffs Harbour in 1964. Since then, these oversized landmarks have become part of the great Aussie road trip.

And now, they’re part of ours.

The Big Lap starts Monday! 🚗

Over five weeks, residents from all eight Retirement Living by Ozcare villages will come together for a virtual road trip around Australia.

It’s about more than kilometres. It’s about moving more, feeling better and staying connected, with every village contributing to one big journey.

A walk with a friend. A few laps of the pool. A little movement in the garden. Every movement counts.

There’ll be prizes, a few surprises and some very big things along the way.

Residents, there’s still time to join the convoy! Register your interest with your Village Manager or a team member and get ready to hit the road on Monday.
