WE’RE HIRING | EXPERIENCED BUYERS AGENT

Ebonia Buyers Agency is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Buyers Agent to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who sees more than just a property. Someone who can identify opportunities across residential acquisitions, renovations, knockdown and rebuilds, subdivisions, infill development, development sites and larger parcels of land.

What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience as a Buyers Agent
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong property research and due diligence capabilities
• Ability to work independently and manage client briefs
• Confidence prospecting and sourcing off-market properties
• An eye for renovation, development and value-add opportunities
• Experience with developers, subdivisions or development sites is highly regarded
• Strong relationships with selling agents and industry professionals
• A genuine, caring and empathetic approach to clients

Most importantly, we want someone who believes that the client’s best interests come before the commission. We’re looking for someone prepared to advocate for their client and walk away from a property when it simply isn’t the right opportunity.

The role offers remote flexibility, however you must be based within or able to service Brisbane, Brisbane Northside, Gold Coast or Ipswich, including attending property inspections when required.

All agency software, systems and tools required for the role will be provided.

Property investors are changing course. But does that mean opportunity for buyers?

The P**A Annual Investor Sentiment Survey 2026 paints a very different picture of investor confidence across Australia.

Investor selling has increased for the third consecutive year, buying intentions have fallen sharply, and rising holding costs are putting increasing pressure on property owners. In Queensland, investor sales were particularly prominent, while Brisbane remains one of the locations investors continue to identify as attractive for future investment.

Some of the key findings include:

• 18.3% sold at least one investment property in the past 12 months
• Only 27.8% plan to buy another investment property
• 44.1% believe the next 12 months is a good time to invest
• 62.3% reported their investment property or portfolio is negatively cash flowed
• 41.7% experienced operational cost increases of 11% to 20%
• Brisbane ranked #2 nationally among locations investors believe are currently the best places to invest

So, what does this mean for buyers?

A changing market doesn’t automatically mean a good or bad market. It means strategy, property selection, due diligence and understanding the numbers become even more important.
