With vacancy rates in Brisbane at record lows, the most frequent question I receive from prospective tenants is: “How can I make my application stand out?”
My best advice is to provide as much detailed information as possible. Rather than rushing through the ‘apply now’ process, take the time to thoughtfully complete every section of your application.
This not only makes the process easier for the property manager, but it also demonstrates your genuine interest and attention to detail.
A great way to differentiate yourself is to include a cover letter. While your application covers your rental and employment history, a cover letter provides the landlord with a better understanding of who you are as a person.
