• Continued excavation and cut-to-fill works

The Ellendale Community Grant applications closes this Friday 26 June - don't miss your chance to apply!

We're inviting schools, clubs and not-for-profit groups in the Upper Kedron and surrounds community to apply for their share of $10,000 in funding. Since 2017, the Ellendale Community Grants programme has been supporting the local initiatives and organisations that make our neighbourhood truly special, and this year is no different.

Breathtaking from every angle. 🌿

Progress continues across Stage 5D, with our Eucalypt and Habitat Releases taking shape amongst the trees at Ellendale.

This week, Shadforth are continuing earthworks, installing stormwater structures, commencing culvert earthworks and progressing retaining wall construction. Looking ahead, box culvert installation, base slab works and backfilling will be underway as we continue bringing this naturally beautiful community to life.

At Ellendale, community is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're proud to announce the 2026 Ellendale Community Grants are now open!

Cedar Woods is once again offering $10,000 to support local schools, clubs, and not-for-profit organisations across Upper Kedron and Brisbane's north. Since 2017, this program has been helping the groups that make our community stronger, and this year is no different. If your organisation is making a difference in our neighbourhood, we'd love to support you.

Exciting progress is taking shape at Ellendale Stage 5D.

Civil works are moving ahead on schedule, with site clearing and environmental protection measures now complete by our contractor, Shadforth Civil. Key sewer and drainage infrastructure is also well underway, helping lay the foundations for the community to come.

We’re also excited to see earthworks and retaining walls nearing completion, with future homesites now beginning to emerge.

Every milestone brings Stage 5D one step closer to completion, stay tuned for more updates!

We’d like to let the Ellendale and surrounding community know that construction works delivered by Pensar Infrastructure Group will be commencing from 30 April in the local area.

These works form part of the Upper Kedron Reservoir and Trunk Main Project, which will deliver essential water infrastructure to support the growing community. Activities will take place in stages across several locations, including sections of O’Quinn Road, Levitt Road and Canvey Road, with most works occurring underground.

During this time, you may notice construction activity such as machinery, excavation and temporary traffic changes. Pensar will be working to minimise impacts to the surrounding community wherever possible, and work will be carried out in line with approved working hours.
