Currently most QLD Council’s restrict to immediate family-only occupants. Changes are proposed for 3 years at which time they’ll be reviewed.

Big step in the right direction for affordability and for QLD to catch up to other jurisdictions around Aus that have implemented this for years.

More houses available to rent will help more Queenslanders in need.

That’s why we’re changing planning rules to remove the restrictions on who can live in granny flats.
