An exclusive ballet performance marks the beginning of something truly special at The Tannery Residences West End.
Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Queensland Ballet to The Tannery for a special performance to announce our partnership and celebrate the connection between two iconic heritage sites. With more than 130 years of history and character, The Tannery is one of hashtag ’s most unique residential developments - a place where heritage, wellness and contemporary design come together.
Our approach has always been to build on its story, not erase it. The Tannery played a significant role in the evolution of hashtag , and we’re committed to recognising and respecting the legacy of this incredible site.
Partnering with Queensland Ballet, located just across the road, felt like a natural continuation of that story.
A special piece of history: the leather produced here at The Tannery was once used to help create boots next door at the Thomas Dixon factory - a connection between these two sites that has continued for more than a century. We’re proud to continue this legacy, support Queensland Ballet, and play a small part in the next chapter of this incredible place.
