Regular roof maintenance is extremely important, particularly leading into storm season. I recommend regularly checking the roof for cracked roof tiles, loose ridge capping, damaged flashing and ensuring all sealant remains intact and well maintained. Gutters, downpipes and roof valleys should also be kept clean and free from leaves and debris to assist with proper drainage and help prevent overflow and water ingress during heavy rainfall.
Ongoing roof maintenance and early repairs can significantly assist in preventing water leaks, moisture damage and premature deterioration of the roofing system.
