LITTLE L COMPLEX - The Fire remains at Watch and Act level. The fire is burning towards the areas of Paynes Crossing, Wollombi and Laguna. The fire danger rating for today is Very High and the Little L fires are expected to threaten properties today. GOSPERS MOUNTAIN - The Fire returned to Watch and Act level overnight. The fire is burning over a large area in the Wollemi, Yengo and Dharug National Parks, and Parr State Recreation areas. The fire is now joined with the Little L Fire. The Little L fires are burning in the Hunter region and are expected to threaten properties on Thursday due to hot, dry and windy conditions.

The fire is expected to spread quickly in an easterly direction.

It is likely to impact on areas around Wollombi, Laguna and Congewai.

If you’re in this area, decide now what you will do if you’re threatened by fire.

The safest option is to leave early, such as early in the day – and return only when it’s safe.

Only stay if you and your property are well prepared.

Stay up to date on the bush fire situation and be ready to take action.
