This week the crew participated in a two day shoeing school with Adrian from Maybe Street Forge

Thanks to Adrian and his wealth of knowledge, there was plenty of hands on learning (and a few sore backs to show for it!).
The crew did a fantastic job and were keen to learn the ins and out of keeping horses sound and comfortable.

KPCA is proud to present the inaugural Head Stockman’s Leadership Forum, designed by industry, for future leaders.

Held in Broome on 12–13 May, this two-day forum brings together emerging head stockmen and women from across northern Australia to build practical leadership skills, strengthen resilience, and grow confidence in leading teams.

Participants will gain practical communication skills, insights into career development, and the opportunity to learn from experienced industry leaders.

Facilitated by Stuart Austin (Audacious Agriculture), with contributions from Barb Bishop (Barb Bishop & Associates), Dr Holly Ludeman (Milne Feeds / The Livestock Collective), and Justin Morrissey (Yougawalla Pastoral).

This is an opportunity for businesses to invest in their people and support the next generation of leaders across the northern pastoral industry.
