Great follow up to the golf.

Sarah met me and we headed up to Ba Na Hills for the afternoon. Walked across the Golden Bridge, wandered through the French Village and took in some unreal views. Still can’t get my head around how they built all of that on top of a mountain.

The cable car up is seriously long. Sarah wasn’t loving the heights, I thought it was great.

Headed back down and grabbed dinner. Sarah went the poke bowl, not really my thing, I stuck with a sandwich which hit the spot.

Then finished the day with a massage that was next level. Easily one of the best I’ve had, back feels brand new. Didn’t help the golf today though.

Wrapped it up with a few drinks listening to a Vietnamese singer belting out some absolute bangers. Great day all round.

Played Ba Na Hills yesterday, what a golf course. Proper test, a bit tricky in spots and seriously hot out there.

Got paired with two Canadian guys, Tim and Michael. Great blokes, they had 13 beers each which probably explains why it turned into a five hour round, but a lot of fun.

Shot 93, which is better than the other day. Could have been better but happy with it on a course like that.

If you’re heading to Vietnam and play golf, this one is a must. Looking forward to the next round.

Just played Montgomerie Links in Da Nang, Vietnam. What a golf course.

Absolutely loved it. The layout is pure and a real challenge without being unfair. The condition was spot on and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Tam, my caddie, was amazing.

Played with a lovely trio of Koreans, a lot of fun to play with.

Shot 95, not exactly what I was chasing, but on a course like that I’ll take it. Tough track and a great test first up in Vietnam.

Looking forward to the next three rounds.
