With unpredictable weather on the way, we want to check in and ensure you have the right information to stay safe. Your well-being is important to us, so we’ve put together some key preparation tips recommended by the Queensland Government to help protect your home and loved ones:
✅ Secure Outdoor Items – Bring in or tie down outdoor furniture, garden tools, and anything that could become a hazard in strong winds.
✅ Check Your Roof & Gutters – Clear leaves and debris, inspect for any damage, and seal gaps around windows and doors.
✅ Park Safely – Move your vehicle to a covered or elevated spot to protect it from potential damage.
✅ Move Valuables & Electrical Items – Keep important items off the floor in case of flooding.
✅ Use Sandbags – If you’re in a flood-prone area, sandbags can help protect entry points.
✅ Protect Windows – Use plastic sheeting and tape on windows to reduce wind-driven rain entry.
✅ Store Extra Water – Fill your bathtub or buckets to ensure you have water for essentials if supply is disrupted.
In response to the forecast, we will be working remotely on Thursday and Friday. While our office will be closed, we’re still here for you - working from home and available as always. We’ll be keeping a close eye on conditions and will proceed with inspections, open homes, and auctions on Saturday only if it’s safe to do so.
