Friday is Shaun’s last day with us! 🥲

Shaun started here when he was just 19 and has gone on to become our longest-standing employee. That’s a lot of years, a lot of jobs, and probably a few questionable decisions along the way! 😂

For one of his final jobs, Shaun and Daryl transplanted a tree together — a fitting way to finish up, especially after the two of them have hit it off so well.

We celebrated with chocolate cake, because obviously that’s the appropriate farewell gift. 🍰

We’ll definitely miss having Shaun around — although we’re pretty sure the mullet will be remembered for longer than anything else! 😂

Thanks for everything, Shaun. Good luck with whatever comes next! 🍻

About Us
At Bundaberg Park Village, we pride ourselves on providing a beautiful, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests and permanent residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Gardener to join our team and help keep our park grounds looking their absolute best.
The Role
This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, spread across 5 days. It is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for consistent, steady hours in a relaxed, outdoor environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens, lawns, and communal outdoor areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing, whipper-snipping, and edging lawns across the park.
Weeding, pruning, and general plant care.
Blowing paths, driveways, and communal areas to keep them clear of debris.
Assisting with general grounds maintenance and rubbish removal.
Safe operation and basic maintenance of gardening equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.).
Maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor with park guests.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or landscaping is highly regarded.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of managing your time effectively without constant supervision.
Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Attitude: A keen eye for detail and a genuine pride in keeping things neat and tidy.
Requirements: A valid driver's license and Police Check if necessary.
