We’re officially Australia’s Best Retirement Village! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that Argyle Gardens Retirement Village has won the Stonebank Group People’s Choice Award for Best Retirement Community at the 2026 Property Council of Australia National Retirement Living Awards.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it was voted on by residents and the wider retirement living community.

Thank you to our wonderful residents, team members and everyone who helps make Argyle Gardens such a welcoming, connected and special place to call home.

At BlueCare’s Argyle Gardens Retirement Village, resident Malcolm has turned a lifelong love of gardening into a special connection with nature through his backyard hive of native bees (Tetragonula carbonaria).

“It’s more about the enjoyment of it and knowing they’re doing something important for the environment,” he said.

The bees help pollinate fruit, vegetables and plants throughout the garden, supporting both Malcolm’s backyard harvest and the wider natural environment.

Stories like Malcolm’s are a lovely reminder that even small hobbies and tiny creatures can make a meaningful difference.

We received 150+ heartfelt entries from residents and support staff across BlueCare, and 28 artworks have been selected for our “Celebrate Every Moment” calendar. 🖼️💙 Huge congratulations to all featured artists — your creativity and stories shine! 🎉

📅 The calendar heads to print soon and will be distributed to BlueCare retirement living villages, aged care homes, and respite centres before the end of 2025.
