Check out the new kit on the One Touch Wonders. Love being able to support local sporting teams which in turn encourages fitness but most importantly mateship. Looking forward to watching you all hitting the paddock over the coming weeks

And just like that we have a high schooler. Where has the time gone? Wishing everyone that is starting or returning to school today a fantastic day. If you have a pic of your child/children on their first day back, feel free to add them in the comments. I’d love to see them. I’m off to do some work and enjoy having the internet back to myself.

As the year comes to a close I find myself reflecting on the past 12 months. What a big year. Planning Culture officially kicked off a year ago. It has been 20+ years in the making and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the support I have received. I get to work with the best consultants in the business to deliver fantastic outcomes for my clients. As for my client’s, well they are the bee’s knees. I love seeing their vision and projects come to fruition and I can’t wait to continue working with them in the new year. There are so many great projects in the pipeline. On a personal note, my family has seen a lot of change and they have all kicked goals themselves. Kristin starts her new job in the new year; Benno finished the year with an academic merit award; and Liv heads off to high school after finishing Year 6 as a school captain and with a swag of merit awards. I might be bias but I am so super proud of them. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very safe and happy festive season and fingers crossed I will be able to catch up with some of you for a bit of Christmas cheer over the break.

But it looked so glamorous in the brochure ... “You can even work from it”. I think I’ll stick to using my new hammock for leisure 😂. It is incredibly comfortable, but I’ll return to my office chair for the rest of the afternoon.

School holidays are for big cookies. The kids are home again so we treated ourselves to some morning tea. Poor Liv broke her arm on Day 1 of the holidays but she reckons a sweet treat can fix anything. Hope you are all having a great week and kicking some goals

Last day of school holidays. Bitter sweet really. I’ve loved hearing laughter and an occasional disagreement coming from the other room. Having an excuse for morning tea breaks and lunch-time catch ups. Whilst the house will be empty again tomorrow, at least I won’t have to wait 20 minutes to download a file because Netflix and Disney+ are consuming all my bandwidth. Lunch at the beach today. We live in such a wonderful part of the world.

I was lucky enough to get out to the Norville State School Sports Day this week to watch Liv and Ben compete in multiple events. So super proud of them both. Liv ran a ripper 800m race coming in 1st for her age group. She came home with a swag of ribbons and left nothing in the tank. Ben equally exhausted gave his all in every event. He came across with his one 4th place ribbon flapping in the breeze for the 100m sprint and a big smile on his face. One of his mates came in 3rd and got a podium finish. He explained that his buddy had never finished in the top 3 so he let him beat him. A third place ribbon didn’t mean much to Ben but it meant the world to his mate. Whilst we strive to be the best and reach the top of the mountain, it is equally important to help others to reach their goals. Winning is not always the measure of success.

Sometimes you just need to take some time out of your day to discuss the important topics in life. Today I learnt about the high stakes of school handball over a coffee and a hot chocolate. ☕️

I had the pleasure of accompanying my daughter Olivia at Shalom's Empowering Women Evening. We got to spend some time with one of Australia's Golden Girls of Swimming Libby Trickett who shared some wonderful stories about her experiences as an elite athlete and life post the Olympics. A little inspiration for Olivia to reach for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics ❤

A large part of my job is helping people work through a sea of regulation and requirements to bring their projects to fruition. It brings a smile to my face and immense joy when you get comments like the one below from Warrick. Thank you Warrick. I truly do have the best client's 🙌
