PROFILE | Richard, and his wife Chris, moved to Bundanoon six years ago from the Northern Beaches suburb of Mona Vale.

They had both lived there all their lives but were looking for something more as they were approaching retirement.

After initially looking at Bowral, Bundanoon seemed like a better choice.

Richard and Chris found Bundanoon offered safety, privacy and a strong community spirit, with so much to do and if needed, the opportunity to wind down.

They found the cost of living was cheaper than Sydney and the facilities impressive.

It wasn't long before the Paddles were discovering many cafes, restaurants, wineries and shopping - all unique to the area.

Richard and Chris have found family are never too far away, with their kids and grandchildren able to visit and always enjoy their time in Bundanoon.
