Thank you for your patience as we continue progressing essential upgrades to the western end of Hunt Road, Burpengary.
Our civil construction partner, Shadforth, will soon commence roadworks requiring a temporary single-lane closure, with traffic control in place to maintain access for surrounding residents. This includes subgrade replacement, kerbing, profiling of the roundabout, as well as general earthworks and asphalt works.
These works are an important step in delivering improved connectivity and long-term infrastructure outcomes for the community.
When:
Works are scheduled to commence on 23 April 2026 and are expected to be completed by 14 May 2026, subject to conditions.
Traffic impacts:
• Single-lane closure in place
• Two-way traffic maintained under traffic control
• Traffic lights will be in operation to ensure efficient and safe access
We understand these works may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as these important improvements are delivered for the Sage community and surrounding area.
Shadforth will complete a letterbox drop prior to commencement, providing further construction details and emergency contact information.
