W***y wagtail couple nest in this glorious flowering cherry every year. This year a little bit early but they waited until it start to blossom before the female started sitting. Amazing to be able to watch them from the lounge room window. Hopefully she will have 2-3 sets of babies 🐣

Room with a view🐨
While we’re inside cooling in front of the fan, this poor little fella has been conked out for the past few days. He has managed to change trees a couple of times but seems to like this one the most. We do have containers of water around the place for those animals that might also be passing through. Thank goodness for the cooler evenings.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. For us we remain closed while Covid is still prevalent, however...

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. For us we remain closed while Covid is still prevalent, however, we do plan to open soon with limited bookings.
We continue to upkeep the B&B and gardens which gives us a lot of pleasure.
The roses in Brightside garden are truely magnificent and bloom constantly which I just love. Also very few thorns.
An example of some of the rose bushes blooms ‘Princesse de Monaco’, dedicated to Princess Grace.
