Twenty years of Keeping the Blues Alive calls for a big one. 🎸

Busselton Blues Fest is back for its second year β€” Saturday 24 October, a free all-ages day of live music on the Busselton Foreshore. Doors open 10:45am. The music kicks off at 11am and runs through to 6pm.

This year's festival is proudly supported by City of Busselton - Local Government, whose grant funding is what makes a free day of this size possible β€” our thanks to them for backing live music and community events on the foreshore. We welcome City of Busselton, Councilor Mikayla Love who is opening the festival for the club at 10:45am.

Seven of our South West Blues Club acts are taking the stage across the day:

πŸ”₯ Beth Chia β€” 11:00am
πŸ”₯ The Recliners β€” 12:00pm
πŸ”₯ The Soul Heart Blues Band β€” 1:00pm
πŸ”₯ Smokin' Joe β€” 2:00pm
πŸ”₯ H***h β€” 3:00pm
πŸ”₯ Vacant Daze β€” 4:00pm
πŸ”₯ Soul Shaker β€” 5:00pm

Food trucks and face painting will be on hand throughout the day, so bring your chairs or a rug, your dancing shoes, and sun protection for a day by the water.

Free. All ages. A whole day of blues on the foreshore. Mark it in the calendar β€” we'll see you there. 🎢

October is a beautiful time to experience Busselton!

Spring brings warmer days, longer hours of sunshine and colourful blooms to Busselton, making it the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy everything this coastal town has to offer. With mild temperatures and fewer crowds than the peak summer months, visitors can explore at a relaxed pace and make the most of their stay.

Busselton’s iconic coastline is particularly inviting in October. Take a leisurely stroll along the famous Busselton Jetty, enjoy a morning walk along the beach, or get out on the water and soak up the spring sunshine. The warmer weather also makes cycling, swimming and exploring the local foreshore ideal.

October is a wonderful time to discover the natural beauty surrounding Busselton. Spring wildflowers add bursts of colour to the landscape, while nearby forests, walking trails and coastal areas offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures and wildlife spotting.

Busselton is also perfectly positioned to explore the wider Margaret River Region, with wineries, breweries, restaurants and local food producers all within easy reach. After a day of exploring, return to Busselton and enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere, beautiful sunsets and vibrant local dining scene.

With beautiful spring weather, plenty of outdoor activities and a laid-back coastal atmosphere, October is the perfect time to stay in Busselton and experience the best of the South West.
