Alcoa’s ageing Kwinana alumina refinery was hit with more than 20 notices from State Government safety inspectors in the past two years.

The 60-year-old plant is set to be mothballed before the end of 2024 with about 1100 jobs in jeopardy, the company confirmed last week.

This lead had a very minor cut but laying in a pool of water cause the water to become "live"...
The cut had unfortunately broken the insulation on the active wire.

Be careful and inspect you leads.
