‘Riverbelle’ - Tomorrow’s Value at Today’s Price | Historic Acreage Lots | Wilsons River Frontage & Mountain Views | Settle 2028

A rare legacy offering within one of the region's most magical historic rainforest environments, Riverbelle presents an extraordinary opportunity to secure land today while planning for the future.

Unlike a conventional subdivision, Riverbelle remains a tightly held vision. Only seven blocks will ever be released to the public, with the remainder retained to preserve the integrity, privacy and generational legacy of this remarkable rainforest enclave. Remaining blocks being retained by family custodians.

Riverbelle is more than land — it is time, history and possibility. A boutique hinterland sanctuary defined by regenerative stewardship, Wilsons River frontage, and breathtaking valley and mountain outlooks — designed to be cherished for generations.

In this episode, Chris sits down with Patti Lowry to hear the remarkable story of a life lived across continents and decades of change. Born in England during the war and raised in Canada, Patti reflects on losing her mother early, travelling through Europe in the 1960s, hitchhiking across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, marrying in Jerusalem, and eventually making her way to Australia. Patti also shares stories from Byron Bay’s early days, buying the old Arts Factory site in the 1990s, and watching the region evolve into the community it is today. A fascinating conversation filled with history, adventure, resilience and nostalgia for old Byron.

Ed Mason – Swimming Through Pain, Cold & Human Limits

From law publishing in Byron Bay to swimming across freezing New Zealand lakes, is pushing the limits of endurance, mindset and human resilience.

In this episode, Chris sits down with ultra-endurance swimmer to talk about his journey from
Sydney law school to life in the Northern Rivers — and how a holiday to New Zealand led
him to attempt some of the country’s most brutal open-water swims. Ed shares what it takes
to swim 40km across Lake Taupō in near-freezing conditions, the mental battle of spending
over 14 hours in the water, and how pain, discipline and mindset play a role in extreme
endurance challenges. The conversation also dives into surfing, remote work, Byron life and
why he keeps going back for even colder swims.
