Wander the paths along Cudgera Creek early, when the water is still and the ospreys are out hunting breakfast. An easy leg stretch before the beach day begins.

The Wollumbin Mount View Circuit loops through the caldera's rainforest villages with lookout after lookout toward the mountain, a half-day drive that starts half an hour inland. The mountain is for admiring, not climbing, and the admiring is spectacular.
