Karen’s real estate career commenced in Victoria, but after relocating to Cairns in 1989, successfully worked the fields of tourism and local media before moving back to real estate in 1999. Since that time Karen has focused solely on Real Estat

e in business development, asset management and residential sales. Karen absolutely loves living in the tropics and regards Cairns as a stylish city, the gateway to Queensland’s tropical north and embraces it’s relaxed, tropical climate and laid back ambience. Being community minded and orientated, Karen has been consistent contributor to community wellbeing through involvement in many sporting and community events. As an organiser with strong experience in running events and conferences and coordinating events - among them Ten’s Coral Coast Triathalon, the Men’s Open Tennis Championship, Rosie’s Run [Womens’ Fun Run], and Sporting Wheelies, as well Qld Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association. Karen served for a total of 6 years on the Arts Nexus Management Committee in support of arts and cultural development in FNQ. CURRENT COMMUNITY POSITIONS
