Long-time locals Luke and Katherine Carter of Carter and Carter Real Estate were en route to Pelican Waters one early Saturday morning in April to set up open home signs, when a striking sunrise caught Luke’s eye.

Spotting a ship silhouetted against the sun, he pulled over and noticed a fishing boat motoring across the foreground. Acting quickly, he timed the moment to capture all elements in perfect alignment.

This is great news for Caloundra’s CBD

Free parking is coming to the Caloundra CBD from 2 March!

The change supports the precinct’s unique mix of local shops, cafés, services and strong visitor appeal.

Paid parking will be removed across the CBD, while two hour (2P) limits will remain to help keep spaces turning over and ensure fair access for locals, businesses and visitors.
