Some news for my Family & Friends 🇦🇺🏴
After 6 years of paperwork, waiting, hoping, and more forms than I’d ever like to see again….. I’ve officially been granted Permanent Residency in Australia 🇦🇺.
The funny thing is, I never actually planned to live in Australia. I only ever planned to travel here.
Life has a funny way of taking you down paths you never expected.
Somewhere along the way, what was meant to be a temporary adventure slowly turned into something much bigger than I could have imagined. This place stopped feeling like somewhere I was visiting and started feeling like home.
The Sunshine Coast 🌴 :
It’s where Casey and I have built our life together.
It’s where Bella is growing up.
And it’s where we’ve created a life we’re incredibly grateful for.
But moments like this also come with mixed emotions.
(Shut up Kato you’re always positive) 😆
Because while Australia has given us so many opportunities and introduced us to so many amazing people, a big part of my heart will always remain back in the UK with my family.
Being on the other side of the world from the people who raised you and shaped who you are is never easy. I know this journey hasn’t always been easy for them either.
To my family back home, thank you for always supporting me, even when it meant being so far away. Your love and encouragement has meant everything.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities this country has given us, the friendships we’ve made, and the people who have welcomed us with open arms.
The UK is where my story began 🇬🇧
But Australia is where life has taken us 🇦🇺
And I feel incredibly lucky to call both places part of my story.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me in getting this visa here in Australia from our family and friends. Couldn’t have done it without you all ❤️
Here’s to the next chapter ❤️
