Siquilla Construction Update.

Following our Turning of the Soil, works have been progressing well. Here we can see Alesha (Siquilla Consultant) checking on progress with Ben Lue (Project Manager, Taylor Construction Group), with lots of steel rebar reinforcing on site.

Taylor Construction Group will soon weave these into a protective shoring system along the perimeter edges to lock the ground in place. Once the barrier is set, we kick off deep foundation piling work.

On Friday, Siquilla's future residents came together for another 'Cuppa Catch-up' at Embers in Campbelltown Catholic Club.

This monthly catch-up is becoming something that depositors have said they really look forward to, and they cannot imagine not having it. We are so thrilled to see the Siquilla family come together.

With our biggest catch-up thus far, the room was buzzing as people came together in conversation about what furniture they are bringing when they move and what they're not! It was great to hear lots of fun banter making the event very enjoyable.

Digging in for a feel good retirement.

Our sincere thanks to all who participated in the Turning of the first Soil ceremony for Siquilla Retirement Residences.

We are delighted to share that construction work has begun, with special guests Minister Anoulack Chanthivong and Mayor Darcy Lound leading the way to turn the first soil on site at Siquilla on Thursday morning, the event marked a true milestone moment for this landmark project.

With contributions from the Chairman of Campbelltown Catholic Club, David McDonald, and CEO of Taylor Construction, Mark Taylor, joined by key project partners, those gathered for this official kick-off enjoyed a fabulous celebration.

It was then the turn of the future residents, who were encouraged to bring their own shovel and join in with the ceremony to help give things a real kick along - taking the opportunity to really dig in for a feel good retirement.

It was a joy to bring Siquilla's future residents together last Friday for another 'Cuppa Catch-up' at Harvest Bistro in Campbelltown Catholic Club.

Welcoming many new faces to Siquilla Retirement Residences, it was a fantastic turnout of almost 50 future residents.

Friendships have already started to develop with many recognising each other, the room was filled with conversation and laughter.

Last Friday, we hosted the first of many ‘Cuppa Catch-ups’ planned at Campbelltown Catholic Club for Siquilla depositors.

It was a lovely morning and so great to see everyone enjoying the conversation and reconnecting again since our Soiree back in December. It was also wonderful to welcome lots of new future Siquilla neighbours together.

Michael Lavorato (CEO) looked quite the part in his hard-hat and hi-viz vest as he announced the appointment of Siquilla Retirement Residences builder ‘Taylor Construction Group’ – and answered lots of questions.

We want to extend our thanks to all who came along for a cuppa and for making it such a relaxed and special time – we look forward to hosting the next one soon.

We are delighted to share an important milestone, as Siquilla continues to progress through the development journey.

After an extensive tender process, 'Taylor Construction Group' has been selected as our project partner to construct Siquilla Retirement Residences.

"Their experience and approach align strongly with the standards we have set for Siquilla and the expectations for our future residents feel good retirement." - Michael Lavorato, CEO, Campbelltown Catholic Club.

On Wednesday 10 December, Siquilla marked an important milestone by bringing its inaugural depositors together for the very first Siquilla Soirée, held at Rydges Hotel Campbelltown.

The evening provided a relaxed and welcoming setting for future residents to connect over drinks and canapés, share stories and experience an early glimpse into the Siquilla lifestyle – one of belonging, independence and living well.

The Siquilla team extends sincere thanks to everyone who attended and wishes all depositors and their families a joyful Christmas season.

We look forward to many more opportunities to come together in the year ahead as Siquilla continues to take shape.
