Canberra is getting colder. And for most of us, colder means another jumper, an extra blanket, a heater turned up a notch. For others, it's totally different.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve spent more time seeing the work by St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn happening across our community and meeting some of the people doing it tough.

It’s a reminder that homelessness and hardship don’t always look how people imagine. Sometimes it’s circumstance, sometimes it’s health and sometimes life simply throws more than people can cope with.

As the temperature drops, I would like my Vinnies CEO Sleepout donations to heat up. I’ve set myself a challenge.

I’d love to see the dial of my fundraising move from $400 to $4,000 within the next 4 days.

Ambitious? Probably. But I'll back myself, and match every dollar raised up to the $4,000.
