It was a busy week building, with structural steel going in between the containers, then Sharon painted the steel. Also the plates in to support the framing in the big openings.
Framing of the the 3 living areas has been completed and stated on the 2 bedroom containers
Thank you to Matt from More Welding and Rob from Modularone our licenced builder
We also had 16 sandstone blocks delivered for the studio and solar containers after scre piles would go in due to sandstone rock shelf

Had remaining screw piles for the house and shed put in yesterday. Unfortunately we found a sand stone shelf under studio and solar container and could only get down 300mm, just wasn’t happening!! So will have to look at other options, maybe sand stone blocks

Had underside of containers spray foamed last week while we were away. More to do but thought it would be easier before rest of house went up

Been a busy week, had Plumbers and Electricians in laying pipe with me digging trenches. We started framing last week and that’s coming along, had to pick up a pack of 70x45 H2 framing timber from Hayters in Mittagong.
Today just tidying up fixing up silt fences and moving aggregate ready for next week We have the spray foam company coming in and spraying the underside of the containers.

Chris and his offsider from Resurect Sandblasting, travelled all the way from Victoria to Canyonleigh yesterday morning and arrived at 10am, did a full day of sandblasting and painting. Stayed in the area, went to morebank in Sydney to pick up more sand and got down to Canyonleigh and did a long day today, leaving at 630pm, to drive back to Victoria.
They got all sanding and painting done on containers and frames and saved me a bloody headache doing it with a paint brush!!!
Chris ust to live up this way but moved last year down to Victoria, if you wandering why he travelled up here. He had done some work on the containers last year
I am so greatfull for his extreme effort at short notice, thank you

Primer paint almost done this morning and the weather was glorious despite been a chilly and mild wind. The rest of the priming is on underside of frames on the edge and one flat face on outside to do, which I will get done next weekend before spraying with the enamel top coat 👌
