The Cape and Brendan Condon are featured in realestate.com.au’s article on how Victorian households can cut energy bills by going electric.

The article highlights what The Cape has been proving for years: all-electric, energy-efficient homes with solar, smart design and no gas can dramatically reduce running costs, while also creating healthier, more comfortable homes.

As Brendan says, cutting off gas connections can “collapse your energy bills”, reducing costs from thousands of dollars to hundreds. The article also highlights how high-performance homes are becoming increasingly sought after, with The Cape’s ultra-sustainable homes, some achieving energy ratings as high as 10 stars, showing what is possible when comfort, smart design and lower running costs come together.

A proud moment for The Cape community.

Congratulations to Brendan Condon, the Director of The Cape on being awarded an OAM.

Brendan’s vision has helped make The Cape what it is today: a place that proves sustainable, all-electric, energy-efficient homes and thoughtful landscape design can be part of everyday living.

His work has always been about showing what is possible, not just talking about it.

An amazing and well-deserved recognition.

World Environment Day is a good reminder that the small choices we make every day add up.

At The Cape, that means all-electric homes with no gas, solar panels, water tanks and nature on our doorstep.

We’ve planted thousands of native plants to help create wetlands, wildlife corridors and habitat for the animals and birds that share this landscape with us.

The Cape is recognised as a habitat of importance for the vulnerable Latham’s Snipe, and is home to more than 145 bird species, 8 frog species, invertebrates, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wombats and more.

Living with nature on our doorstep also means taking care of it, so the birds, frogs and wildlife that make The Cape special can continue to thrive.
