Tide water park has 7 camping sites. Well spaced out for privacy and to enjoy the amazing coastal environment. We have recently been contacted by council regarding our camping and reminded about the limited number of campers we can accommodate before needing further planning permission. If we were to gain further council permission (major paperwork required) we would need to significantly increase our fees😢. This year especially has been very quiet and campers have often enjoyed the area to themselves. So at this stage we will continue to have 7 sites but we cannot use all sites at one time to prevent exceeding council regulations. Please contact us if you need assistance or clarification on this. Can I use a shovel instead of my own toilet. No
Why cant I use my chainsaw/collect wood.
All these answers are because our sandy dunes are environmentally sensitive. We have been proactive in reducing weeds and preventing erosion on the beach front. We hope campers respect the turtle areas, bird life and wildlife which live here. By being mindful of our environment it also means it’s as nice an area for you and as the next camper.

We have been receiving lots of questions lately. Many have asked about launching a boat. In the last 2weeks we have had 3 small boats launched at the creek. One boat stayed at campsite. So a-few answers.

How far is the creek:- 3.5-4km
Do we maintain the boat ramp:- No
Does the boat ramp change:- yes
Is the creek tidal:- YES
Is there a turning circle at the boat ramp:- not really
Can Rep run to boat ramp and back:yes
