Creating a thoughtful kitchen space that is free of clutter and provides good bench space. This great little shelf was from and while the gold detail was not quite right, a quick spray with chalk paint and it was perfect for the space. Really happy with the final finish.

Human behavior is truly fascinating. When I hung these sayings in the bathroom, it never occurred to me that guests might actually take them off the wall. Perhaps they wanted a selfie because they were feeling particularly handsome or beautiful? Regardless of the reason they failed to hang them back up correctly, causing them to fall and damage the frames. They have only been up a couple of weeks and it’s so disappointing.

A warm hug? Not a hug but a warm woollen lap blanket for cosy, cool nights around the fire pit. Scored an old woollen blanket, cut it in half and sewed the cut edge on my vintage 40 year old singer. It still works a treat, though the light bulb blew just as I started. Need to buy a new bulb. Oh, and red wine helps. 💕🍷

Times are a changing or at least the seasons are. Autumn is just around the corner but it’s been warm so the trees have been slow to put on their autumn display.
