Behind every project we build is a team of hardworking individuals. This R U OK? Day, we want to remind our on-site workers that their mental health is just as important as their physical safety.

We are proud to foster a culture where it's safe to speak up, share the load, and support one another.

To our crew: thank you for everything you do. Remember to check in on your mates today. A conversation can save a life. 💬✨

The last few months on Horizon have busy, stressful and fun to say the least as we progress out of the ground with construction up to level 2 preparations.

Not everyone gets the credit they deserve in construction as workers are usually pushed to meet deadlines working long hours in multiple varying conditions.

At Opalyn we are extremely blessed that our incredible crew onsite have created a culture of enjoyment & fun with regular BBQ's as team bonding and as a moment to reflect on the job and connect with each other as mates.

The Horizon team have gone a step further and (successfully) tried their hand creating an official Horizon team anthem, and we are proud to share it with you all highlighting the day to day activities of construction while having some fun.

Please enjoy the music video and lyrics from our Horizon boys!

Horizon Update!

The Level 1 Pour is officially wrapped up. It was a real team effort across the board, with everyone pulling together to get the job done safely and smoothly.

Afterwards, the crew took a well-earned break with a site BBQ cooked up by our resident chef, Tony. Big thanks to Tony for keeping everyone fed.

With Level 1 in the books, we are moving straight ahead with our eyes on Level 7. Onwards and upwards!

Horizon - Suttons Beach Update!

Podium Pour yesterday was in full swing with an early start for everyone. Completion of ground slab is always milestone for any project as this poses as one of the biggest and most technical pours onsite.

A Massive thanks to our incredible Opalyn team and contractors - Nichols Construction Group, Pump Action Concreting, Spot On Reo, ARMA Construction, PND Traffic control and Nielsens concrete for making it happen.

We wrapped up the day with a well-earned BBQ to thank everyone for their hard work.

Onwards and upwards!

Milestone moment for NATURA at Indooroopilly!!

Our Podium Slab being Poured with around 600m3 of concrete, A big shoutout to our traffic control, Meales concrete pumps and Nielsens concrete trucks helping to service the site like clockwork.

Another big mention to Nichols Construction working meticulously on deck to get a perfect finish for our first slab out of the ground. Very happy with the effort and professionalism they bring to site.

Horizon Update

Upper basement 1 slab has been installed today with a seamless effort from Pump Action and Nichols Construction. We can only see each level getting more efficient moving forward.

Opalyn is excited to see our podium slab pour next which will mark the start of Horizon reaching above street level and taking its shape over Suttons Beach.
