Grounds & Maintenance Hand – Neagles Retreat Villas
Neagles Retreat Villas is looking for a reliable and practical Grounds & Maintenance Hand to help keep our villas and surrounding property looking their best.
This is a casual, flexible role of approximately 15–20 hours per week and would be particularly well suited to a semi-retired person looking for enjoyable, hands-on work in a beautiful Clare Valley setting.
The role will primarily involve general property maintenance, gardening and groundskeeping, minor repairs, mowing and outdoor upkeep, along with occasional assistance with vineyard and seasonal property tasks.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable and handy, with a practical approach and the ability to work independently. Experience using basic tools and machinery would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
Flexible hours | 15–20 hours per week | Above award rates

Neagles Retreat Villas, located in the heart of the Clare Valley, is seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Hand to join our team.

About the Role:
Approx.15- 20 hours per week (with potential for more during peak periods).
Paid above award rates.
Flexible hours to suit seasonal requirements.

Duties will include but not limited to:
Gardening, General farm and property maintenance.
Assisting with vineyard, paddock, and grounds upkeep.
Operating machinery, equipment, and tools as required.
Supporting seasonal agricultural tasks as needed.

What we’re looking for:

Previous machinery experience is preferred but not essential – training can be provided.
A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or in a small team.
Current driver’s license desirable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a welcoming team in a stunning rural setting, with flexibility and competitive pay.
