Big NO πŸ›‘ vote from me for this budget, particularly given that (in my opinion in the medium term) it will disproportionately negatively effect young people who are looking to build wealth, whether through property or shares or startups

Those who can afford to structure investments in SMSFs or companies etc will be fine but investors (in anything) who purchase in their personal name are the losers here

In the very short term, I think it will be advantageous for owner occupier purchasers due to CGT changes likely leading to (IMO again) more properties hitting the market but in the long run, wealth creation in Australia is harder under this budget
