Here’s one of my best tips for container gardening: always plant the whole punnet of seedlings together (take out of the plastic first!). Just plant all six seedlings in the same spot rather than pulling them apart/separating them out. You get a much better display every time. Loving this wee pot of portulaca - a flowering succulent - but usually it struggles along in pots as little seedlings. B**g in the whole punnet though and - boom! So pretty (and it loves hot dry summers with gardeners who neglect to water their pots sufficiently).
