We’ve just about finished giving the former Colac station master’s house (36 Rae St) a spruce up – with a coat (or 3!) of new paint, a new fence and a lot of TLC. We reckon it looks fantastic, and the accolades go to Greg Johnstone for his meticulous building skills and Trevor Harty for his care and patience. A big thankyou to the generosity of Colac Otway Shire in providing us a helping hand through their Building Façade Improvement Community Grant program. Thanks to the terrific tradies: Brett Arnold for repairing the old Lardner plaster, Lachie Gorwell & crew and Cory Beckett for bringing the building into the modern world with wiring & internet, Rob Jameison for tackling the liquidambar tree out the front, Darren Leeson & crew for carpet to help keep our toes warm. And as always, thanks Jon, you go above and beyond. We also want to give a shout out to Tom Davis, Seth Dowie & Josh Bright, for helping with the move and clean up.
We’re open for business as usual….
Anthony & Katy Bright 😊
