Alice is a hardworking and valued member of the Hinter Auctions team, playing an important role behind the scenes to keep every auction running smoothly. From organising and assisting with auction preparation to helping the team wherever needed, Alice works hard to make sure everything comes together when it matters. Currently completing high school, she balances her studies with her role at Hinter Auctions, bringing enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to get stuck in. While much of her work happens away from the spotlight, Alice’s contribution is an important part of keeping the auction process organised, efficient and on track from start to finish.

Paul Bielby brings auction experience and practical know-how to the Hinter Auctions team. As an auctioneer’s assistant and active bid spotter, Paul keeps every auction moving smoothly. He assists with lot collections and portering, helping buyers efficiently collect their purchases. Paul previously worked as an auctioneer alongside his parents in their family-run auction company and has also brought his experience to Hinter Auctions.

Away from the auction floor, Paul runs Paul Bielby Real Estate, where he applies his strong people skills, local knowledge and commitment to professional service. A passionate musician, Paul plays and sings at venues across the Sunshine Coast and greater South East Queensland with his band, Soul Tree Union. Whether spotting bids, assisting clients or lending a hand behind the scenes, Paul brings energy, experience and a friendly approach to every Hinter Auctions event across the region.

Abby is a valued member of the Hinter Auctions team, joining the business after graduating high school and quickly developing a genuine passion for the auction industry. At 18 years old, Abby works in administration and plays an important role on auction day as an auction clerk, helping keep everything running smoothly.
Having grown up enjoying the outdoors, Abby loves the opportunity to get out from behind the desk and get hands-on with onsite auctions and clearance sales. She particularly enjoys the fast-paced atmosphere of auction day, working alongside the team and meeting bidders and vendors from all walks of life.
Whether she is assisting with administration, helping prepare an auction site or clerking alongside the auctioneer, Abby brings enthusiasm, energy and a willingness to learn. She looks forward to continuing to develop her skills and gain experience.

Raised on a diverse farming property, Richard’s early exposure to livestock and clearing auctions shaped his expertise and genuine love for the auction method of marketing. Alongside his successful career in farriery, Richard has triumphed in international competitions and holds an esteemed position on the executive of the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce.
With an unwavering dedication to true price discovery, Richard has raised over $400,000 for various noble causes. His remarkable talents as an auctioneer, M.C., and compère have graced events across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Along with being the director of Hinter Auctions Richard is also a sales agent with Harcourts Property Centre and offers freelance real estate and chattel auctioneer services. Teagan van Heuzen is the hardworking force behind the scenes at Hinter Auctions and, as we often say, the person who holds the company together. Working across administration and clerking our live auctions, her organisation and attention to detail make her invaluable to the team. Away from auctions, Teagan has a passion for rugby league and enjoys coaching football, bringing energy and enthusiasm. She is also a busy mum to two boys, with a third addition to the family arriving in the coming months. Thankfully, Teagan isn’t going anywhere just yet and will remain with Hinter Auctions before taking maternity leave. While we’re not quite sure how we’ll manage without her, we look forward to welcoming Teagan back after a few months away, ready to once again keep the Hinter Auctions team organised and running smoothly, as ever.
