Back at 54 Corowa Street, Wavell Heights for Part 2!

Back in March, we caught up with the team at Imara Group when this project was just getting started.

Now, we’re back on site with Heinrich to see how it’s all come together. The finished home is certainly impressive, a substantial five-bedroom residence on a 599m² corner block, with 40m of frontage and a north-facing rear.

And the best part? It’s now on the market.

It’s always great to see a project progress from the early stages through to completion, and to see the finished result ready for its next chapter.

House Surveys General Manager, Jarvis and Graduate Surveyor, Ollie recently had the opportunity to visit the University of Otago and connect with Bachelor of Surveying students.

Ollie, who studied at Otago before joining House Surveys at the beginning of 2026, was joined by Jarvis to share insights into life at House Surveys, graduate opportunities and some of the projects the team has been working on.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the next generation of surveyors, share their experiences and give students a glimpse into what a career at House Surveys can look like.

The team made the most of their time in the region, swapping surveying conversations for some well-earned time on the slopes.

Out on site at Somerset Dam, our team recently completed a contour and detail survey to accurately map the site's topography and existing features.

Using the survey plans, the team identified the permanent survey mark before using high-precision GPS technology to verify its position and establish a reliable height datum for the site.
