Fresh vision & voice for Cowra. 👏👏👏
From a very young age, I had a passion and drive for building our community and creating a better life in Cowra. I was so lucky to be supported by teachers at Cowra High and the community to learn, engage with the student representative community across the state, and to implement these learnings locally. One of my proudest achievements is rolling out a student led anti-bullying program at Cowra High.
I’ve spent the last decade studying, campaigning and working in public policy, government, politics and social justice.
2020 turned my life upside down. Sydney in crisis brought me home to Cowra. Then the loss of my amazing, inspirational mother-in-law Coleen Fahey rocked my family to the core. But being in Cowra, has been like my heart has returned home. I constantly feel supported and in awe of all the wonderful people here, and our ability to come together.
This year I decided to make the move permanent, and join my husband at Fred Fahey Aerial Services bringing my skills in project and people management, systems and governance to build our business to the next level.
I have always wanted to make the world a better, fairer place. To improve the opportunities and support for kids from the country, for First Nations people and for people doing it tough. Growing up in this beautiful country made me passionate about climate change, and ensuring the beauty we see today will still be around for generations to come.
I want to be a voice for those who want Cowra to be more. Get in touch and let me know your ideas for how we make that happen!
